Alvarado History Walking Tour

Local historian Timothy Swenson will lead a historical walking tour of Alvarado on Saturday, October 19th.

Sponsored by the Washington Township Museum of Local History, the half-mile tour will take about 90 minutes. The route will take walkers through old Alvarado while Swenson shares details about 43 historic buildings, many of which are now gone.The tour is free, and donations are gladly accepted. A coordinating tour booklet with historical photographs will be provided.
