The Disability Resource Festival and Opportunity to Meet First Responders takes place on Sunday, September 25 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the City of Fremont’s Downtown Event Center. The goal of this free resource fair is to build positive relationships between the disability community and first responders while connecting people with disabilities and their families to helpful area resources. The City’s Fire and Police Departments will conduct demonstrations. Local agencies providing services for those with disabilities will be on hand to share information. This event is brought to you by the City of Fremont Human Relations Commission in partnership with Mission Valley Special Education Local Planning Area and Friends of Children with Special Needs with support from the City of Fremont Human Services Department.
