Leadership Fremont’s Afghan Elderly Association Donor Recognition Night

Leadership Fremont’s 2024 Cohort wishes to celebrate donors to the Afghan Elderly Association (AEA) for the purpose of bringing back their Congregate Meal Program.

The Congregate Meal Program, which was once a celebrated part of AEA’s programming, is an opportunity for elderly Afghan women to share a culturally relevant meal, conduct an activity together, learn about healthy living strategies, and so much more. This program teaches participants about the importance of a nutritious and well-balanced meal and affords them an opportunity to meet to reduce social isolation.

More information to be posted on the Afghan Elderly Association’s‘s website.
