SUMMARY:Arunay Foundation Walkathon/5K/10K
DESCRIPTION:The Arunay Foundation Walkathon/5k/10k is scheduled for Sunday\, November 5\, at Quarry Lakes in Fremont. \nThis walkathon is not just about taking steps; it’s about taking action. We understand the balance that must be struck between appreciating the ocean and understanding its dangers\, and with your help we can truly change California’s coastline. \nThe Arunay Foundation aims to reduce beach accidents and coastal drownings by raising awareness and educating people about sneaker waves\, rip currents\, high surf\, and other hazardous beach conditions. The focus of our organization will be on designing and implementing effective measures that can eventually save the lives of beachgoers. It is our hope that\, together\, we can raise awareness and make our beaches safer. \nOur three-pronged approach: Educate\, Equip\, and Inform. \nThank you for being a part of this important initiative. Together\, we can create ripples of change that extend far beyond the shoreline. \nEvent Registration
