Future Plans

While we are excited about providing a true Nonprofit Clearinghouse for the Tri-City area, it’s an ambitious undertaking. For this reason, we’ve decided on a phased approach.

Phase I

Get things started with a number of needed directories:

• A searchable directory of area nonprofits
• A comprehensive calendar of nonprofit events
• A central location to post volunteer and donation needs
• A directory of resources, including businesses willing and ready to partner with nonprofits, other sites, and published information

Phase II

Add additional resources that will be helpful to nonprofits, and the community members who support them. Suggested possible features include:

• Library of additional resources
• Educational events (e.g., speakers, presentations, webinars, workshops)
• Networking opportunities
• Blog posts or articles featuring nonprofits, interviewing Executive Directors, and more
